The Departed


An excellent movie with an excellent cast.
This Martin Scorcese's film which finally
won the Oscar for MS is a police / crime
 story which provided plenty of angles.
That made it more thrilling as you never
 know what will happen next. Leo deCarpio,
Mark Wahberg and Matt Damon were
 very good as cops of varying faults and
appeals.Martin Sheen as the police Captain
who murdered by the bad guys in the film
 and Jack Nicholson, the gangster head
provided the mature roles. I will watch it
again one of these days I'm sure.

Hollywoodland


It's the story of the mysterious death of George Reeves,
the original TV Superman of yesteryears. Acting as the
TV hero was Ben Affleck who was good in this movie.
Diane Lane was also good as his sugar mommie . In the
role of the private eye was Adrien Brody. This was a
good movie with different theories on how Reeves died.

The Illusionist


The move was a surprise . I thought it was going to be
one of those boring period film . The Illusionist was a
movie with a big twist at the end . I won't tell so that
you will enjoy it . Ed Norton was excellent in his role as
the magician and sexy Jessica Biel was equally good .
